I jumped on rte. 11 going south and then got off at Wisconsin Ave and Jackson. I walked down Jackson and turned right onto E St. Paul Ave. Then I went into the Public Market on S. Water St and listened to all the sounds in the building and tried to pick out the more interesting ones. I noticed this large cold case refrigerator making a humming sound. I recorded it at a high and low mic sensitivity and decided to use the high sensitivity recording because it is more pronounced, clean and the fidelity is faithful to its source.
